to Play
Introduction
Welcome to Ant War! Start a brand new ant colony in the
town of Spring Valley and follow one simple rule…grow!
Keep growing more and more ants until finally
you rule the entire town!
Winning
the game is simple: Make as many Ants as you can!
1 billion Ants conquers the world!

Ant
Types
There are 5 different ants you can pick from. Each type has a
different special skill that will help your game so choose carefully!

Weather & Seasons
Everyday the weather will change. On days with good weather
your colony can find more food and have more good
events. On days with bad weather, food will be
harder to find and you can have more bad events
like rain floods!
Before
you start your day you can check the weather prediction.
If you see some bad weather coming up you can avoid
it by moving your nest to an indoor location like
Mr. Suburbia’s House!
Also
pay attention to the time of year. Each location
has different activity depending on the season. During
the summer, the beach is most active, but the school
is mostly empty.

Ant
Jobs
Each day you give jobs to the ants in your colony. Click
on the + and – buttons to adjust how many ants
you want for each job. There are 4 different jobs your
ants can have:
Scouts
The more scouts we have, the less
food we need each day.

Nurses
The more nurses we have, the faster
our ants will grow.
|
Workers
The more workers we have, the faster
our nest will grow
|
Soldiers
The more soldiers we have, the
better our attack and defense will be. |
Preset
Buttons
To help you assign your ant jobs, use the 4 preset buttons!
Click any 1 of the ant portraits to set that job as the day’s
priority.
Location
Screen
You start your colony in Mr. Suburbia’s backyard.
With every level you go up, you can move your nest
to the next location. Moving your ants to a new
location
will cost you gems and a little bit of food.
Each
location in Spring Valley is unique, giving you different
challenges and rewards. Explore and discover what
places are best for you!

The backyard is a great spot to begin your colony!

Garden
The garden is a beautiful spot to live, especially
in the spring months! |

The house will keep you safe when the weather outside
is rough…and keep an eye out for leftovers

Valley Bridge
Crossing the bridge gets you to and from town. Just
watch out for all the traffic! |

The
Stream
The stream is the beginning of the wilderness and
connects you to Farmer Brown's farm! |

The
Field
The 'battle' field is the place if you want to test
your soldiers and have lots of fights! |

The
Forest
Deep in the forest you can find gems and encounter
some wild animals! Be careful of the termites though… |

Brown's Farm
Find lots of food bonuses at Farmer Brown's Farm!
Just beware of his crazy chicken and mad cow! |

Park
The park is a great place for parties and picnics!
There's always lots of food around, especially in
the summer! |

The cracks in the sidewalk are great for building
up your nest! Just be careful of all the humans walking
around. |

Playground
The playground is the best spot in town for kids,
so its good for your nursery too! |

Bakery
Good food, good treats, good gosh, lets eat! The
bakery is a great spot for sweets, especially during
the winter holidays! |

Valley School
Learn some fun facts about ants and raid the cafeteria!
But not much to do here during summer break. |

Spring
Valley Diner
This greasy spoon has lots of yummy food! Burgers,
fries and spilled ketchup! Yum! |

The
Beach
The beach is a safe place to relax…no battles
happen here so your ants can kick back! Come in the
summer when humans drop lots of food! |

The
City Dump
One person's trash is another ant's treasure. There's
plenty of food in the dump, but beware…the
trash attracts lots of other ants as well! |

The
Worm Hole
The worm hole lets you travel to any location on
the map that you've already unlocked! |

Store
Screen
Go to the Ant Store to buy cool items for your ants!
With every level you go up, new items will become available.
Purchasing items at the store will cost you gems so spend
wisely! There are 45 cool items you can buy that fit
into 3 main categories: ant upgrades, colony supplies,
and special ant buildings!

Stats
Screen
Go to the Stats Screen to get the low-down on your
ant colony! You can see how many daily bonuses
you receive
and also check out your colony’s battle record.
Click on the + and – buttons to see all of the
different enemies you’ve encountered!

|
Events
Everyday your ant colony can have up to 5 events. Good
events are things like finding food or maybe even
some gems! Bad Events are things like your nest
flooding or someone stepping on your anthill. Battle
Events happen when you encounter an enemy like
Buster the bully, and Tip events happen when Grandpa
Ant gives you some gameplay wisdom!
Different
events can happen depending on your nest location,
size of your colony, time of the year and much
more! You’ll have to play a whole lot to
see all of the events!

Characters

Adam
Ant
Adam Ant is your trusted advisor. If you are looking
for some advice, check out his speech bubble on every
screen and he’ll help you out.

Grandpa
Ant
Grandpa Ant is a wise old ant who pops up occasionally
during the day. He loves to share his years of knowledge
with new ant colonies and will give you some good tips
on how to play! |
Enemies
The town is filled with all sorts of bugs, animals and humans
who don’t like your ants. Be on the lookout for these
bad guys. As your colony grows, you’ll battle bigger
and stronger enemies. Different enemies live in different
locations so explore around the map to find them all!
Battle
When you encounter an enemy you go to the Battle Screen.
There you will be able to see your enemy’s
fighting stats and then you decide whether to attack
or retreat. If you are not sure what to do, trust
your advisor Adam Ant and click the Auto Battle
button and he’ll decide for you. When you
defeat an enemy you will get a victory reward.
If you retreat you will lose a few ants, but live
to fight another day!

Levels
There are 18 levels in the game. With each level you go up,
you get rewards like gems, food, and other bonuses!
Gameplay
Tips & Strategies
You can only hold as much food as your nest size. Any
extra food you find will be wasted. If you want to hold
more food, make your nest bigger!
You
need 1 ant to maintain 2 nest. If you want a bigger
total nest, you need to grow more ants.
If
you find yourself fighting some tough enemies, give
yourself more soldier ants and boost your attack
and defense!
The
nest is your castle. Making your nest bigger will
increase your battle defense.
Items
at the Ant Store can really help your colony get
to the next level. Check out all of the items for
sale and save gems for those expensive items you
really want!

on each screen!
